Pudgy said that she had been helping her husband Jim with his off road business, but being a woman and not really knowing much about motorcycles, she found book work and conversations about things(motorcycles) she had little knowledge of and even less interest in was less than gratifying. This didn’t go unnoticed by her husband Jim. Jim came home one day and told her that he had seen something on the internet that he thought was really cool, Pudgy first thought was (yeah cool to him) but Pudgy checked it out and Bam! She was hooked! So they started researching training centers, equipment all things Hydro…very long story and a lot of money later Pudgy was on her way to Ohio to a training session by K2 Concepts, she completed her training with them and have become forever in love with this process. She said that she can’t wait to get to the shop in the morning and can’t make herself leave at night.
Hydrographics or Immersion Printing is the transferring of a design or Image on to an item buy means of immersing in water or hydro dipping. Water transferring can be done on all types of materials, metal, plastic, wood, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, etc… If the item can be dipped in water and painted—then the hydrographic process can be done.
Hydrographics is an inexpensive way to dress up, revamp, camouflage or bling out your items like it’s been airbrushed without the expensive airbrush cost.
Pudgy said, “We wanted to offer professional quality hydrographics at a reasonable price available for everyone here in our neck of the woods. So instead of looking to set up our business in the most populated area we concentrated our search to this end of the Treasure Valley where we live, have lived, and will continue to live and more specifically Weiser. It just makes sense to us, to do what you’re passionate about in the area that you feel most passionately about, and so far we have been blessed every step of the way, starting with purchasing the building to the many, many friends and family members who have helped to make the dream of starting this business a reality. When people leave our shop they have a big smile on their face and that’s much more gratifying.” Razorback Offroad Facebook
