By Samantha Roberts
Hello everyone! I hope your summer is off to a great start. My name is Samantha Roberts and I am the UI Washington County Extension Office 2017 Summer Intern. Some of you may remember me from two years ago when I was here before helping out as the 2015-summer intern. I am now a college graduate and have decided to come back for some additional learning experiences before I go back to the University of Idaho to obtain my Masters in Agriculture Education. My first summer here in the office I was able to learn and grow as a student, it gave me an opportunity to find my passion in teaching through Extension Education. The opportunity guided me to several other careers in Extension over the past two years stretching from Latah County to Gooding County. These experiences have lead me to my current goals of going back to school to obtain my Masters so that I have the opportunity to apply for a career in Extension Education this coming year. I look forward to working with everyone this summer and to all the new things I will learn and grow from.
Office Note: If you are interested in attending the University of Idaho or in a career in agriculture-related studies, please take an opportunity to find Samantha and ask her all of your questions. She will be here through the Washington County Fair.
