The University of Idaho Washington County Extension Office will be hosting the annual Autumn Showcase on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Vendome in Weiser.  Please join us for an incredible opportunity to learn more about the many services provided by the Extension office as well as dinner.  All ages are welcome—bring your whole family.  It is sure to be a lot of fun and it is absolutely FREE!
During our Autumn Showcase, we will again have all kinds of displays and interactive events about many aspects of Extension Programming.  Of course, 4-H will be well represented with booths, and informational displays about clubs and projects.  There will definitely be lots of fun things to do and see—and lots of 4-H volunteers on hand to help answer questions about getting involved in 4-H.  4-H clubs will be sharing about some of their favorite projects like animals, gardening, and leadership.  The robotics clubs plan to demonstrate what they have learned so far this year.  There will be opportunities to learn how you can get involved in 4-H as an adult as well.  4-H always needs volunteers!  We have kids waiting to try 4-H, but there aren’t enough volunteers to go around!  Other Extension programming will be represented as well.  We will have Master Gardeners and Extension personnel to answer all kinds of questions from planting and growing to food preservation and safety.  We will also be gathering community input about our programs.  This is a great chance to tell us what you would like to see us offer in the future!
So, mark your calendar for November 13, and plan to drop by anytime between 5:30-7:00 pm at the Vendome.   Dinner is free and you will have a great time learning something new about your University of Idaho Washington County Extension!
