Every year millions of people across the world fill shoe box for a boy or girl, ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14. They place a “Wow” items such as a doll, soccer ball with pump, toy car or stuffed animal. Then fill the remainder of the box with fun toys, hygiene items and school supplies. Every box is prayed for multiple times and often a note or photo is placed in the box by the giver. We then donate a shipping fee to cover shipping and other project costs. Then these loved filled boxes are delivered to a Collection site. The Weiser Community Church is the local collection site and is only a success collecting because of all the caring churches and individuals that give. We can also track these boxes and most from our area go to the processing center in California and then delivered to areas along the Pacific Rim. If you go online to Samaritanspurse.org you will be able to track your box, receive information and hear testimonies from children and their villages as to what this all means to them. This is the 3rd year with the first year 2015 collecting around 425 boxes, in 2016 we collected 446 and this year a whopping 557!!
