This is going to be a short  column today.  I was at a EOA board meeting yesterday and didn’t get back in time to do my work here at the center.  I don’t remember the deadline for the paper,  so if I have a chance of making it, I need to make this short.

We had a very nice turnout for our Baked Potato Bar, Silent Auction and Bake sale.  We served 58 guests  and although we didn’t sell out on baked goods, diners make a good sized dent in the sale items.

Volunteers for the bake sale and also working at the Potato Bar were:  Susan Platt, Kay Van Order, Elsie Coburn, Pat Davenport, Karen Atteberry, Irene Hargis, Lorraine Farrens, Zella Yergen, Mary Ann Crogh, Dana Munden, Donna Talbot, Margaret Ann Border, Sheila Zundel, Charlie Caruso, Jack Coburn, Jeri Bemis, Lynda Yoder, Pat Davenport, Linda Whitlatch,  and ?  That’s all I can come up with at the moment.  If I‘ve forgot to mention you, I’m sorry.  Let me know and I will catch up next week.  Thank you all for your time and hard work.  You are much appreciated!

Our Valentine’s day dinner (tomorrow)February 14th  is Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, rolls and chocolate cream pie.  Fridaynight, February 16th  is Pizza night served with salad apricots and dessert.  Next Wednesday, February 24th we are serving Hamburger steak in Mushroom Gravy, mashed potatoes salad beets and bread pudding.
