Jeff moved to Weiser in 2006 with his wife Kim and three children. He opened JD’z Bike shop with his dad Jon in 2007. JD stands for Jon David, and Jeff David. They originally opened with bikes and skateboards, parts and service.  Soon they began building custom bikes, Jeff really enjoyed the custom builds.  They ran the shop together for a couple years.
In 2008 Jeff returned to California to be closer to his daughters who were still residing in Bishop.  Jeff returned to Weiser in 2012 and began working with Napa Auto Parts in Nyssa and Payette.
Jon already had a full retirement from Southern California Edison electric company when he came to Weiser in 2006. He decided to open the Bike Shop with Jeff until he reached the age he could collect his retirement, which has come!
Jon continued to grow JD’z in Weiser with the wonderful customers that depended on him to keep their bikes in shape.  In 2015  Jon had medical conditions that limited and changed the hours of the bike shop over the last several years. He continued to service bikes by appointment only. In 2017 during six weeks of treatment in Fruitland during our snowpocalypse, he began to think about retiring from the bike business full time.
Jon is very active in his local church here in Weiser, and will spend most of his time on the small goat farm he and his wife have out in the Mann Creek area.
Jeff decided that he would return to the bike business,  and will begin to add new and recycled sports gear in the near future.  Jeff will provide all the same services with quality work and continue to specialize in custom built bikes.
Jeff in his private life enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He and his 2 boys enjoy motocross, exploring our hills and off-road trails on dirt bikes and in their 4x4's. He and his wife are active in supporting his daughter in her WHS sports and activities. He and Kim are immensely enjoying their new granddaughter.  He is also active in the same local church as Jon. Jeff, along with a few others, lead a youth program on Friday nights.
Jon has greatly enjoyed and appreciated the relationships and friendships that have developed through this venture. Jon will still lend his knowledge as needed, and wants to thank everyone for their continued support. Jeff is looking forward to extending his dads legacy.
