The Cambridge Rodeo Board is pleased to honor Judy Mecham Frank as the 2022
Grand Marshal. Judy’s long history of community service and volunteerism is rare
and noteworthy. Judy was raised in Nyssa and her youth and young adult life was
filled with jobs involving horses. She didn’t miss a chance to day ride for many
different ranches.
Judy began her career in public service at the US Post Office in 1990. Judy served
a total of 27 years, including the 18 years we enjoyed her as Postmaster in the
Upper Country working at both the Midvale and Cambridge offices.
The horses were always a constant, and Judy was a volunteer 4H Leader for over
20 years, she led both horse and sheep clubs with as many as 35 members some
years. Her work with the Cambridge Rodeo Board began around 1990 when she
was asked to carry a flag, she also pitched in and was instrumental in the rebuild
of the arena in the early 90s. Judy organized the Rodeo Royalty contests and
chaperoned the group for many years. Judy also served the board as the
Secretary and Treasurer for a portion of her 28 years of service to Cambridge
Rodeo.
Judy married her true love Larry Frank in 2005 and they have 3 beautiful
daughters and 9 Grandkids. Larry and Judy are loving retired life, they enjoy
camping and fishing, and the best trips are when they take the grandkids along.
The Cambridge Rodeo Board thanks Judy for her life dedicated to helping others
in her community and making it a better place to live for so many years.
