Kathy Davis-Morrison

November 24th, 1950 – September 7th, 2020

Kathy Davis-Morrison (Allison Kathryn Romans), 69, of Meridian, passed away on September 7, 2020 in Meridian.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM,  Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Grace Bible Church (1415 Lone Star Road Nampa, Idaho). 
Kathy was born in Boise to Samuel and Harriet Romans on November 24, 1950. She graduated from Boise High School in 1969. She worked as a switchboard operator for Mountain Bell and married Douglas Davis in 1970.  They had two children, Andrew Davis(1976) and Neal Davis (1987). In the 1980’s, Kathy began data entry for the Idaho State Tax Commission where she worked for 10+ years. In 1999, Kathy married Kent Morrison and her family grew by two daughters, Lauren and Kali Morrison.
Kathy loved the outdoors, camping and fishing.  She especially loved looking for elk.  She would spend her summers visiting Cascade with her Sister, Cindy Vitek, and Yellowstone with her husband, Kent.  She would even make the occasional escape to the coast or Jackpot for a weekend of fun.  When the outdoors were not available, she would spend time with her close friends attending concerts.
With a caring and giving heart, Kathy always made others’ well-being her priority.  She loved her friends and family, always putting their needs above her own.  Her children and grandchildren were her passion.  She attended every event possible and always looked forward to their spring and fall sporting events.  With her big smile and infectious laugh, you always knew when she was there for you.  
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Harriet Romans.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Kent Morrison, sons, Andrew Davis (Gretchen Davis) and Neal Davis (Tarah Davis), daughters,Lauren Sky Morrison and Kali Aspen Morrison, brothers and sisters, Cynthia Vitek (Romans) (Dennis Vitek), Kip Romans (Holly Romans), Rob Romans, Todd Romans, and Nick Romans (Katie Tyler Romans), grandchildren Ethan Davis, Mason Davis, Mya Davis, Jerry Davis, Karah Davis, and Eden Davis, and many nieces and nephews.
