This post is probably long over due but I wanted to announce that the Weiser River Music Festival will not happen this year. It’s been one heck of a four year run!! Rather than focus on the reason or reasons we aren’t moving forward I’d like to thank the dozens of people who helped make this event happen and saw our vision, the list is long!! Also, the people that purchased tickets and attended, thank you!! I’m feeling all the feels writing this post while I listen to Leftover Salmon sing Troubled Times. My hope is all that attended will have happy stories to tell about the festival, like that one time Vince Herman and I….or the time Paul Cauthen…. did you know Del McCoury came to Weiser….
Live music will continue at Ruszoni’s Pizza as a consolation, and I look forward to seeing you again at those events. Please support the other festivals, Sawtooth Valley Gathering, Hwy 30 and all the other great festivals in our area!!
