Rolling Hills Golf Course: What’s Happening!

As of March 8th, Rolling Hills Course is OPEN!  The clubhouse is also now open and can be accessed 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm.  Just a couple of weeks ago we were all hoping for the snow to go away.  Now that the sun is out, temperatures are rising, and the wind is drying things up a bit, golfers are excited to hit the greens!

There are a few changes happening.  The restaurant portion is not open yet and there is no word as to when that will happen in the future.  The restaurant closed shop during the pandemic and unfortunately has not made plans yet to reopen.  However, there are snacks available such as hot dogs, chips, and beverages as well as a full bar.

There is an Open House every Wednesday during the month of March, where grounds-person Ben will be discussing golf course management and related topics.  Last week, Ben spoke all about trees and how to best manage trees on a golf course.  For those interested, meetings start at 6:30pm and last until about 8pm.

The course will be closed Wednesday, March 17th from 11:30am to 4pm for a high school golf tournament.  The bar will remain open to the public.  The grass is starting to green up but please be mindful of wet areas and avoid them on the course.  Make a plan to stop in, grab a drink, some snacks, and challenge yourself to a round of golf.
