Xi Nu Sorority is an active service group belonging to Beta Sigma Phi. There are five groups in Weiser. Beta Sigma Phi Sorority was formed to serve as a social and cultural group for women whose purpose is to work and serve the communities they live in. Xi Nu Sorority has many service projects each year and all projects help someone in Weiser.
There are several projects that we are planning this year. Two of them are our large yard sale and the chili cook off. The yard sale will be the first Saturday in June and the Chili Cook Off is planned for October.
The Yard Sale will be for everyone. We sell spaces for $10 and you set up a booth and all sales are yours. With the Indian Head Bow Hunters we have the large parking area at the old Co Op building to set up the vendors. The money earned from this venture is used for scholarships for high school senior girls.
The Chili Cook Off is for everyone. Some enjoy eating the Chili and some enjoy cooking and sharing the chili. this money is also used for scholarships. There is some space for vendors to set up and sell. We will post information about each of these very soon.

Xi Nu sorority also volunteers for projects. One is the Red Cross Blood Drive where some of us help make the sandwiches and all of us bake cookies and make and serve the lunch for the workers when needed.
