Finally, it looks like concerts are making their way back in 2021 with LIVE music at in-person events. The highly anticipated Weiser River Music Festival is on this year and expected to have a big crowd ready to enjoy some of the best acts in the Northwest.
Nick Reed, owner of Ruszoni’s Pizzeria and founder of the Weiser River Music Festival, is thrilled to announce the incredible Del McCoury Band as the headliner for the festival! Del McCoury is said to be an icon in the Bluegrass world and his unique sound will be a once in a lifetime opportunity at this event. McCoury began his life journey is York County, PA and has never been to Idaho. As a teenager, he started playing the banjo. Now at 82 years of age, Delano “Del” Floyd McCoury is a well-known American bluegrass musician and the leader of the Del McCoury Band. He plays guitar and sings lead vocals along with his two sons.

WRMF is also committed to providing a safe venue and this year a few extra safety precautions will be in place. All attendees will be screened for temperature and any symptoms of illness. Seating will be provided that is 6 to 10 feet apart. Families are welcome to sit together. There will be elevated locations for people to view the festival from their vehicles. Artist and patron interaction will be limited. All vendors are required to follow Southwest District Health guidelines and COVID-19 requirements. Camping spaces will be spaced at a minimum of 10 feet apart. Patrons are allowed to bring their own food and drink into the camping areas (alcohol excluded).
