Kids Day 2023 Raises Over $3,600 for Local Nonprofits and Charities

Thursday, June 22nd Weiser Classic Candy held their annual Kids Day in downtown Weiser. This year’s event brought an estimated 1,200 participants filling a section of State Street with laughter and joy. Kids of all ages were able to purchase tickets to play games such as ring toss, hoops, ax throwing and were even able to get their faces painted. This year’s dunk tank was sponsored by Arrow-Heart Adventure Camp and at times had local officers from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and Weiser Police Department volunteering to be dunked.

Patrick Nauman, owner and operator of Weiser Classic Candy, shared his thoughts on Kids Day stating, “Kids Day is something myself and my staff look forward to every single year! The opportunity to give back to the community in this way is rewarding and fun all at the same time. Putting smiles on kids’ faces is what we like to do more than anything.” This year Kids Day raised over $3,600 for local nonprofits and charities.
