A love for the Weiser community brings three new faces to the Weiser Chamber of Commerce

December 18, 2023

By Robyn Hernandez

The Chamber is welcoming board members Kasey Davis and Natasha McDaniel as well as new Chamber director, Colleen Hall.

Colleens impressive background serving communities and helping others has pushed her to begin revitalizing the Weiser Chamber of Commerce. As soon as Colleen began as Director in November, she has devoted her time to rebuilding and updating the Chamber database. Through this process, a lot of research and reaching out to local small businesses has been done. “My most important goal is to provide as many resources as I can for all Chamber members.”

Colleens connections with the Small Business Association(SBA) will help offer guidance to businesses in Weiser in need of additional support or those just looking for extra education on running their own small business.

The new director also has plans of monthly newsletters and meeting with the city of Weiser mayor to present a state of city address to businesses that may be affected by changes. She is also keeping up to date with the IDOT for updates of road closures or road work which may have an impact on the amount of traffic through town, potentially affecting local business. Between supporting the community through events and planning with guest speakers from multiple organizations, Colleen is dedicated to offering as much support and as many resources as she can for the success of Weiser small businesses.

Kasey and Natasha, new board members, also bring strong relationships with the Weiser community to the chamber board. As a member of the Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation and long-time volunteer for different community events, Kasey says she is eager to be able to be a part of the community and give back in any way she can. Natasha is centering her role at the Chamber on developing relationships with businesses and our community. With prior extended experience working for the city of Weiser , she is excited to become more involved and help build open relationships with the chamber and local businesses.
