I have a question as a Washington County tax payer. Why is the Planning and Zoning Chairman, Ron Jaeger, an unelected bureaucrat, undermining elected officials? ( Wash. Co. Prosecutor True Pearce) He & the P&Z committee recommended the recent EMERGENCY moratorium to the commissioners.
Mr. Jaeger is putting our County at risk, as people are suffering real losses because of the illegal moratorium which he has recommended to the Commissioners. (Two out of three of the commissioners voted for this. Commissioner Wilkerson declined)
Building Contractors have lost contracts and Well Drillers have lost orders on wells that were to be drilled. These monetary damages could lead to countless lawsuits aimed at the county.
We need to cancel the P&Z committee as it is and cancel the illegal moratorium. Today!
