Did you ever have one of those times when you don’t have much to say? This week, that is me. I’m just going to keep it simple and short; I know some of you will appreciate it.
I found out that our Split the Pot fundraiser will run through August 29th. We will hold the drawing after lunch that day. If the winner isn’t in attendance, we will let them know through a telephone call. The fundraiser is open to anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to participate. Tickets can be purchased at the senior center during regular business hours. Feel free to call me if you have any questions. 208-257-3358.
Wednesday, July 16th, is our food Pantry from 1:30 to 3 PM, after the dishes are done. Our Shopping trip is on the following day, Thursday, July 17th. A few seats are still available if you would like to join us. Just let me know before Thursday.
Speaking of Bus trips, another bus runs on the third Saturday of each month. It’s called the Mountain Community Transit. The trip is free and stops at Walmart, Bimart, and the Dollar Store. The journey starts in McCall, and the last pickup point is in front of Lovelands Store at 9:45 a.m., across the street from the senior center in Cambridge. They stop for lunch and begin their return trip from Ontario at 2:45 in the afternoon. For more information, please call 208-634-0003.
There will be a Fraud and Scam presentation at the Senior Center on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 12:30 p.m. Bring your questions and be ready to learn.
We are also planning an Ice Cream Social on Friday, August 1st, from 4 to 7 p.m. Please be on the lookout for Flyers. I will give you more details next week.

Friday, July 18th: Pizza! Combination, Canadian Bacon, or Chicken Alfredo, Garden Salad, Mandarin Oranges, and Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter frosting.
Wednesday, July 23rd: Idaho Open-Faced, Hot Turkey Sandwich with Homemade Bread, Salad, Broccoli/Cauliflower Vegetables, Mixed Fruit, and Lemon Cream Bundt Cake.
Friday, July 25th: Reuben soup, Ham Sandwiches, Garden Salad, Mixed Fruit, and Dessert.
