Weiser, Idaho — For the first time in many years, the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival presented its “Best Dressed and Best Decorated” award — and Zions Bank in downtown Weiser took home the honors for Fiddle Week 2025.
With a nostalgic flair and strong community spirit, Zions Bank partnered with The Merc in Weiser to bring in vintage merchandise that transformed the bank’s interior into a tribute to old-time charm. Outside, local artist Bonnie Akbar of ArtfulBon hand-painted the bank’s front windows, adding artistic energy to the festive atmosphere.
The return of this long-dormant award was met with excitement from the Fiddle Board and community members, who appreciated the way local businesses leaned into the celebration. Organizers say the award will remain on display at Zions Bank throughout the year — and they anticipate even more creative competition next summer.
