Idaho Inferno Soccer Club Bringing New Teams Locally

The Idaho Inferno Soccer Club is an all-volunteer organization that provides low-cost soccer programs for kids.  Their mission statement is:  Idaho Inferno Soccer Club serves our community by promoting teamwork, development, and relationships in a safe and fun environment.

Coach Trine Lonberg, currently of Weiser, is excited to announce that they are building teams closer to our area!  Her vision is to build a thriving program that is more accessible to kids in the Weiser, Fruitland, and Ontario area.  Right now, they have two girl’s teams, U-14 and U-16 that are made up of kids from Ontario, Fruitland, and Weiser, and one boys team.  Lisa Berry is a coach from Fruitland, Nella Redman from Nyssa will be the goalie coach, Kimi Kelley from Weiser as manager, and Trine Lonberg from Norway will be coaching.  They are hoping for more boys and girls to sign up for 2021 seasons.

24 girls practicing

This is a really exciting development for our area, and they are hoping to gain some great momentum by sharing the word!  Practice will happen throughout the winter in Weiser and Fruitland, and spring soccer home games will take place in Fruitland.

If you or someone you know is interested in registering for spring soccer or getting information for 2021 Fall soccer, contact Trine Lonberg at (208) 405-3669.
