I am announcing my bid for re-election for County Commissioner Seat for District 2.
I am running on the Republican Ticket. I have lived in Washington County for over 60 years.
I worked at City of Weiser for over 30 years as the public works director, gaining valuable experience with roads and bridges, water and wastewater maintenance and operation. I overseen several major upgrade projects. I was involved in the budgeting process and continue to work on the County budget today. I have been involved with bringing three new businesses to our industrial park and the former Feltham Growers onion plant. We continue with the engineering and design of the Cove Road bridge. It is scheduled for construction in 2025. We are also working on a replacement for Unity Lane bridge.
I have been on numerous boards and held elected positions such as Idaho Rural water Assoc., and Idaho Transportation T-2 Advisory Board. I have worked with Bonneville Power (BPA) in negotiating a power contract and transmission contract for the City of Weiser.
I have worked with the Idaho Legislative folks on numerous bills effecting Washington County.
