On Monday, November 11, 2024, the Wieser School District will observe Veterans Day, and community members are invited to join us.
School District Veteran Day Programs are in accordance with Idaho Code
33-512 Governance of Schools: For each Veterans Day, each school in session shall conduct and observe an appropriate program of at least one class period, remembering and honoring American Veterans.
The Washington County Veterans will organize the event and provide Veterans Day assemblies at Weiser Middle School at 8:30 AM, Weiser High School at 11:00 AM, Park School at 1:30 PM, and Pioneer School at 2:30 PM.
As a reminder, the following items could be mentioned during the assemblies: God, Prayer, the Bible, Scripture from the Bible, and names found in the Bible.
The Weiser School District adheres to the principles of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, ensuring a separation of church and state. As such, it does not endorse or promote any particular religion or religious belief system within its curriculum or activities.
