Thursday, June 19th Weiser held their 15th annual Kids Day in downtown Weiser. Children were able to purchase tickets to play fair games, enter the water gun maze, purchase hot dogs or cotton candy and much more. Proceeds from the tickets are used to help local non-profits such as Rose Advocates and Arrow-Heart Adventure Camps. Patrick Nauman, owner and operator of Weiser Classic Candy and the ring leader of the event, shared that there were over 23 local businesses that sponsored prize balls for the ball drop that helped make this year’s event such a success. Nauman shared, “It’s all about giving the kids something fun to come and do during Fiddle Week and it’s also about giving these non-profits the opportunity to raise a little money and get some awareness out that they do exist in our community.”
