I finally finished the last of my month-end reports. It wasn’t as “easy peasy” as I thought last week, but thankfully, they are done and sent off to their final destinations.
I spoke with Melissa Roundtree last week, and we scheduled Wednesday, October 22nd, as our annual Flu Shot Clinic day. They will be here at 11 am to administer the vaccine. No appointments are needed; it is a walk-in clinic. She will be here until Noon.
If you haven’t already made an appointment, this is your chance to get your flu vaccine locally. Just remember to bring your Medicare card. Your shots are provided through Medicare free of charge.
Our Split the Pot fundraiser has started and will end on Friday, November 14th. The drawing will be held after lunch that day. Our last Split the Pot winner won $202. Who knows what it will be this time? We will find out on November 14th.
Brad Talbutt, from SHIBA, will be here to educate us on what’s in the new Medicare Open Enrollment period, which starts on October 15th and runs through December 7th. He will be available for private counseling sessions between 10 am and 3 pm. Please call 1(800) 247-4422 to schedule an appointment.
Menu:
Friday, October 10th: Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Garlic Bread, Garden Salad, Peaches, and Pineapple Dump Cake.
Wednesday, October 15th: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Rice, Green Beans, Roll, Apricots, Salad, Chocolate Cake.
Friday, October 17: Chicken Alfredo, Combination, or Canadian Bacon with Pineapple, Pizza. Garden Salad, Apricots, and Dessert.
Have a great week, everyone!
