I’m writing this column on Sunday, March 16th, and I just realized that Ursula started working here 19 years ago on this date! So I want to wish her a “Happy work anniversary.”It’s been a good run for all of us here at the center. She has given us great food, a sense of humor, and loyalty to the senior center and its programs and people. We appreciate all that you do for us.
I have a note stuck to my computer about our pantry needs. If you can help, we need canned meats, jams, jelly, and cereal.
When we order from the Idaho Food Bank, it’s been pretty slim pickings, and now our pantry is also in the Slim Pickings category. Our next food pantry is on Wednesday, March 19th, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Chair Yoga is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. On Monday, March 24th, we have our regularly scheduled foot clinic.
Appointments are needed. If you don’t have one, call 208-257-3358, and I will schedule one for you.
MENU:
Wednesday, March 19th: Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Peas, Pears, Garden Salad, Wheat Roll, and Banana bars.
Friday, March 21st: Pizza! Combination, Canadian Bacon with Pineapple, and Chicken Alfredo. Tossed Green Salad, Pears, and Dessert.
Wednesday, March 26th: Oven-fried chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Coleslaw, Corn, Dinner Roll, Mixed Fruit, and Oatmeal Cake.
