Friday morning as a new Weiser resident came to a stop at the train track on River Dock Rd., She saw the train coming but because of the icy road, her car did not stop. She wasn’t sure because everything happened so fast, but she thought that she hit the second train engine or the first box car.
Very few people that hit or are hit by a train come out of it uninjured, but the call actually came in as an uninjured accident, so no ambulance, fire department, deputy were on scene, just the state police.
