Showcasing much more than cultural dance; they are a vibrant representation of tradition, unity, and community empowerment. The group proudly shares the rich heritage of Aztec dancing, performing at various events throughout the Treasure Valley.
Each movement in their dances tells a story, a prayer honoring the ancestors and a precious gift for future generations. Danza Azteca Tonatiuh are dedicated to keeping alive the spiritual and cultural celebrations of Mexico’s indigenous past.
This year, America’s Global Village Festival and the Tom Keffer Memorial Highland Games, presented by the Ontario Area Chamber of Commerce, took place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Lions Park in Ontario, Oregon.
The festival was a day of free, family-friendly fun, celebrating the diverse cultures that make the Treasure Valley so unique. Attendees enjoyed authentic cultural foods, traditional crafts, engaging activities for children, and exciting prizes throughout the day.
