Dick H. George, age 79, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Weiser, Idaho, with his family by his side. He was born on March 1, 1945, in Afton, Wyoming to Lloyd and Rella George. His family relocated from Wyoming to Idaho when he was seven years old where he remained until his death. Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman and was in his element, and never happier, than when he was either in the mountains or on the lake. He passed this passion down to both his children and grandchildren.
Dick is survived by his children, Rick George (Sherry), Cindi Robertson (Tim), Jason George (Dolly), Jon George (Christina), Kevin George, Dustin George (Michele), Hugh George (Kim), Orval George (Kathryn), and Richard George (Lisa), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Wilma Tidd (Ralph), Thelma Anderson (Dee), Brenda Roberts (Sid), and Ruth Zaugg (Glen), brother David George (CJ), and his faithful canine companion, Boomer.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline George, father, Lloyd George, and mother Rella George.
A Celebration of Life to honor Dick’s memory will be announced at a later date.
