First Responders Recognized at Arrow-Heart Annual 9-11 Softball Tournament

Saturday, September 7th Arrow-Heart Adventure Camps held their Annual First Responders Softball Tournament. Teams are split between Idaho and Oregon First Responders form local law enforcement and fire departments. Arrow-Heart Campers are divided up and placed on both Idaho and Oregon teams to play along side the First Responders. This year Idaho won the tournament and will get to display the traveling trophy for the year. Stephen Fenske, Arrow-Heart Executive Director, stated, “Both teams made it an enjoyable game.”

This tournament was created to help the youth and community remember those First Responders who valiantly served during 9-11 and for those loved ones who were lost, may we never forget.
