It’s been said that a good deed is repaid tenfold. A smile on someone’s face or the
knowledge that a hardship has been eased is payment enough but now Amazon.com
has taken it one step further. Partnering with the American Red Cross, Amazon.com is
offering a $10 gift card to every person donating blood between November 28 and
December 15.
Weiser’s upcoming blood drive will be held on Wednesday, December 7, at the
Vendome Events Center making it eligible for this giveaway. Appointments range from
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visit the American Red Cross website to schedule a time or, if
you prefer, you may call Alex Chavarria at 208-602-7138 or Dorothy Evans at 208-549-5589 for an appointment.
Appointments are always preferred but every attempt is made to accommodate walk-
ins. Either way, it is advised that you complete Rapid Pass on the American Red Cross
website before you arrive. Wait times are shortened by taking advantage of this
service.
The $10 Amazon.com gift card will be emailed to you so be sure your correct email
address is in the American Red Cross system. This can be accomplished during your
health check interview just prior to donating.
Your blood can save a life. It’s the best gift you can give this holiday season.
