Giving Thanks by Giving Back – Proceeds Benefiting Ani-Care Animal Shelter and Angel Wings Network, Inc

During the month of November, the Black Cow Café (805 NW 3rd Ave., Fruitland) and State Line Shed Sales (311 N. Whitley Dr., Fruitland) will be Giving Thanks by Giving Back to Ani-Care and Angel Wings Network, Inc.  There will be FREE raffle tickets with a donation or buy 4 raffle tickets for $5.00.  In this raffle, there will be a gift basket, women’s purse, Taylor Day metal sign, and grey hide.  $20 raffle tickets will be available for a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield EZ 9MM plus 2 mags.  Must be 18 or older to enter.  $35 Fee for a background check.

There are also items needed for each nonprofit, and these donations will also be accepted.  Drop off your donations and buy raffle tickets at Black Cow Café and/or State Line Shed Sales in Fruitland, Idaho. 

Angel Wings Items Needed:  hard candies (peppermint or lemon flavor), adult activity books, mini Kleenex, face masks, gloves, travel pillow, water bottles, soft socks, chapsticks, lotions, hats, scarves, green/peppermint tea, small hand sanitizers, travel cards, travel games.

Ani-Care Items Needed:  Grain-free dog and cat food, treats, toys for dogs and cats, peanut butter, cat litter, blankets, urine-cleaners, dog/cat wormer, wood stove pellets.

Ani-Care Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit that has been in operation since 2010, tending to the needs of animals by providing humane shelter and care, rehabilitation, and rehoming services.  Their goals are to improve community awareness, increase owner reclaims and adoptions, continually upgrade their facility to better care for the animals, and to create a better volunteer network.  Ani-Care is a no-kill shelter, and they strive to find forever homes for all animals.  Visit their Facebook Page @Ani-Care Animal Shelter.

Angel Wings Network, Inc is also a 501c3 nonprofit that serves cancer patients in the rural communities of Western Idaho and Eastern Oregon within about a 70-mile radius of Weiser, Idaho.  They provide support, resources, and free services to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family, and loved ones who have been touched with cancer.  Some of their services include:  transportation, prayer blankets, lending library, gas cards, meal cards, cleaning for a cause, wigs, weekly outreach at infusion centers, and much more.  Visit their website at www.angelwingsnetwork.net or on Facebook and Instagram.
