Weiser, Idaho — To bring the wonders of Idaho’s prehistoric past directly to Weiser Public Library, the Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) will be visiting with their Mobile Museum, offering a one of a kind, educational experience at no cost to the public.
The IMNH Mobile Museum is a grant-funded project, from the David B Jones Foundation, aimed at reaching every library district in Idaho on a rotating three-year schedule. We are proud to be a recipient of this amazing opportunity and welcome all of Weiser to come and enjoy this exciting educational experience with us.

Housed in a specially outfitted van to portray a traveling extension of the IMNH in Pocatello, the Mobile Museum consists of a walk-through exhibit that makes science come to life. Visitors will get the opportunity to see original and exact replicas of Idaho natural history objects straight from their collections. Including a full Idaho dinosaur skeleton, nests, skulls and interactive displays with hands-on activities with our mobile educator Pam Pascali.
Bring your family and explore Idaho’s ancient past right in your own community on OCTOBER 8 from 10 to 1 and discover the many amazing facts of our state’s history.
The Mobile Museum officially hits the road in August 2025 and will operate through October 31st. If the IMNH reaches out to schedule with your library there is no cost, no matter where in the state. However if you would like to request a visit a quote will be provided based on travel mileage.
