Press Release
In June, educators from throughout Idaho gathered in Nampa for the annual convention of Delta Kappa Gamma Educators. The focus of the convention was to learn about the development of a new instructional model for educating high-risk students toward productive careers. The attendees were able to tour and hear presentations from the innovators at Elevate Academy in Nampa.
With over 300 members in Idaho, Delta Kappa Gamma is an international organization of professional women educators with chapters in 17 countries. While convening in Nampa, the Idaho DKG’s elected co-presidents for the coming two years: Leslie Ward and Holly Hutchinson, both longtime classroom teachers from the Fruitland School District and members of the local DKG chapter, whose members are from Weiser, Payette, Fruitland, and New Plymouth.
