This is a question we should all ask ourselves. It was first posed to the American people by Ronald Reagan, who would later become the 40th President of the United States.
Before making a snap decision, consider a few aspects of your life. Is it easier for you to buy things from the store than it was four years ago? Is it easier to fill your gas tank? Are you able to find a house you can afford to rent or buy?
The dollar has lost 18% of its purchasing power in the last four years, making life a bit more challenging for most of the population. How are you dealing with that?
Is America as respected in the world as it was? If you have an emergency, do you think the police will be able to protect you? Do you feel confident about your personal safety and the safety of your family?
When you have the answers to these questions, you will know the answer for this one. “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
Now you are ready to vote.
