To the Editor:
Our community owes a great debt to Living in the News for its timely insights into life in our town, and thus we must excuse its forays into flat-earth theory and alien abduction reports. With reference to a recent letter by Mark Curry, while we may admire his skill in orthography and sophistry, and even stand in awe of the many endorsements on his Junior Epidemiologist’s Badge, the citations he uses actually drive us to accepting the opposite of his conclusion. ALL the experts listed who have knowlege, skill, and experience in the area of healthy living, point to the value and efficacy of wearing masks. If you have any regard for the front-line workers who have given their all in the Covid fight, please continue to mask up for as long as it is suggested to do so.
