Dear Editor
The residents and shops along Commercial Street have faced months of disruption due to a significant road construction project. The aim? To widen the street for better traffic flow of commercial vehicles, boosting business efficiency. The process was filled with detours, loud noise, and roadblocks that tested everyone’s patience.
Now that the project is complete, there’s a sense of relief and hope for the benefits it promises. The next step is to ensure Commercial Street becomes the main route for big rigs, not just regular cars. This means allowing commercial vehicles while restricting their access to West Idaho and Main Streets. This approach will help maintain those streets for residents and non-commercial traffic, allowing the community to enjoy a smoother, business-friendly traffic flow while keeping residents’ content.
Respectfully,
Curt and Christina Stanley
