Readers Becoming Leaders is a program designed to connect a mayor, city council member, or senior staff to elementary students with the hope of building connections, empowerment, and a sense of belonging for Idaho’s youth. Readers Becoming Leaders introduces students to great examples of civic leadership and the workings of the city in which they live through the book “Friends City” and its accompanying STEM-focused activity workbook.
