Weiser community members gathered on Monday, September 29, at 6:00 p.m. at the Vendome Events Center for a Meet the Candidates Forum, hosted by the Weiser Chamber Of Commerce and the Weiser Signal American. The event featured a question-and-answer session with candidates seeking positions on the Weiser City Council and the Weiser School District Board of Trustees. Only one school board candidate was present; he introduced himself and provided remarks regarding the Weiser School District Levy, offering attendees information on its purpose and importance to the district. The forum, provided residents an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to serve in local leadership roles and to gain insights ahead of the upcoming election.
