The Weiser Elks #1683 invited the community members to join them in honoring the veterans by placing flags at Hillcrest Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day 2025. Organizations such as Arrow-Heart Adventurer Camps and local 4-H groups contributed to the uplifting event, which featured a BBQ with hamburgers and hotdogs for participants. The Elks are seeking volunteers to help remove the flags after the holiday, with a scheduled meeting at the cemetery set for Tuesday, May 27th at 10 a.m.
