New Trees for Weiser City Park

WEISER,ID- The City of Weiser was up early this morning planting six young trees at the park, replacing five that had become rotten and were dropping dangerous limbs, especially concerning near the playground.

With the annual car show just around the corner and the park being a hub for families and community events, safety was the top priority.

Thanks to the City of Weiser for purchasing three of the new trees, and to the LOR Foundation for generously matching that number with three more. This is a great example of how thoughtful planning and community partnerships can keep our parks safe, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

After touring the trees that were cut down, I’m truly grateful the City recognized the need and took swift action, not only to protect our community but to invest in the kind of space where families can continue to make memories together.
