P.E.O. Chapter T, Weiser, Idaho is celebrating its 100th Birthday (April 23, 1921)
Please join us on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, 1:30 p.m. for a fun celebration!
The event is taking place at Sunnyside Farms, 1526 Sunnyside Road, Weiser, ID. Through membership, the P.E.O. Sisterhood has brought together more than a half a million women in the United States and Canada who are passionate about helping women advance through education, while supporting and motivating them. In addition to the educational philanthropies, the P.E.O. Sisterhood provides a framework of support and community for all members.
P.E.O. is clearly making a difference in the lives of women all over the world. Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization has helped more than 116,000* women pursue educational goals by providing over $383 million* in grants, scholarships, awards and loans. The Sisterhood also owns and supports Cottey College.
Grant, loan and award recipients – as well as Cottey College students – need not be members of P.E.O. With the exception of international students who receive International Peace Scholarships, each recipient is sponsored by a P.E.O. chapter. This allows the chapter members to be a meaningful part of “their” student’s life.
