Payette, ID — The Payette Police Department announces that Heath Adams, a resident of Payette, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison following a comprehensive investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving multiple teenage girls.
The case began on August 21, 2024, when accusations surfaced regarding Adams’ involvement in the sexual abuse of several underage victims. The Payette Police Department immediately launched an investigation. During the course of the investigation, a cellphone was recovered and analyzed, revealing critical evidence that corroborated the victims’ statements.
In coordination with the Payette County Prosecutor’s Office, the Idaho Attorney General’s Office became involved due to the severity and scope of the case. Based on the evidence gathered, federal charges were pursued.
On October 9, 2025, Heath Adams was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison.
