Scarlett Bailey was awarded the $1000.00 Branch Memorial Scholarship this spring. She was required to be a second year or longer showman in 4-H and to be doing a sheep project this year.
Scarlett was also required to write a 500 word essay on “How I would benefit form the Branch Memorial Scholarship”. The scholarship allowed Scarlett to purchase her lamb from KDS Club Lambs, as well as purchase feed, and show equipment for her lamb project. Her lamb “Ava” weighed in at 120 lbs at the fair. She was purchased by Pearson Well Drilling at the Washington County Livestock Sale.
