Seeking out all possible local educational programs that are eligible such as Weiser, Payette and Fruitland for writing essay competitions.
The first competition is open for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades enrolled in public, private, and or parochial schools. This is the Patriot’s Pen Essay and the Theme is “How Are You Showing Patriotism And Support For Our Country?” The deadline is October 31, 2025. Grand prize is $5,000.
The second competition is for students in 9-12th grades enrolled in public, private, parochial high schools OR a home study program. This is the Voice of Democracy Essay and the theme is “Is America Today Our Forefathers’ Vision?” The deadline is October 31, 2025. Grand Prize is $35,000.
