The Weiser Banjo Contest kicked off on Sunday, June 15th, coinciding with Father’s Day and the day before The National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival.
We really enjoyed the first-place winners of the banjo and fiddle portion of the contest: Vi Wickam, who as always excelled on the fiddle, and Rod Aquayo, who showcased his talent on the banjo.
