Officer Cody Samson of the Weiser City Police Department is informing the community about a new one-way traffic change at the top of the hill in Memorial Park, a very popular spot in town. Drivers entering from East 2nd Street, can turn onto Walter Johnson Drive, a one-way on to the park hill, can either:
• Circle around to Park Drive to exit, or
• Continue on Walter Johnson Drive to travel around Memorial Park.
⚠️ Important Change: Park Drive is now designated as one-way only, serving as an exit from the park as is Walter Johnson Drive in that circle from 2nd Street. The Weiser City Police want to ensure the community is aware of this update for everyone’s safety and convenience. They also extend their thanks to the City of Weiser for the new Sidewalks with curb and gutters that improve the area.
Please drive carefully, follow the new signs, and help keep Memorial Park safe for all.
