Vale Christian Church transformed into a spectacular venue of celebration on Friday, February 7, as it hosted the 2025 Night to Shine event. The local celebration, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, was part of a synchronized worldwide event honoring individuals with special needs. The church joined hundreds of others across the globe in creating an unforgettable evening that celebrated people with disabilities as valued members of the community. Guests received the full royal treatment, beginning with a grand entrance on the red carpet complete with enthusiastic crowds and paparazzi-style photography. The evening featured a range of special activities designed to make every guest feel extraordinary. Professional hair and makeup stations helped attendees prepare for their spotlight moment, while complimentary shoe shining services added an extra touch of elegance. Guests enjoyed luxury limousine rides, spirited karaoke sessions, and a carefully prepared catered dinner. The event also thoughtfully included a Sensory Room for guests needing a quieter space, as well as a dedicated Respite Room where parents and caregivers could relax. The highlight of the evening came during the crowning ceremony, where each guest was honored as a King or Queen, symbolizing their inherent dignity and worth. Tim Tebow, founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, shared his passion for the event: “Night to Shine is my favorite night of the year! It’s my favorite because we get to celebrate so many Kings and Queens and share how much they are loved by us and by the God of this universe. Our goal is to reach every person with special needs around the world—until all are celebrated. No matter the city, no matter the country, we want Night to Shine to be there.” Those interested in participating in next year’s Night to Shine can contact Vale Christian Church at 541-216-8914 or email valechristianchurch@gmail.com for more information.
