Vale Heritage Reflections Mural Society Rejuvenating Vale Murals

The Vale Heritage Reflections Mural Society held a ribbon cutting for the first renovated mural on the side of the M & W Market. As you enter Vale, it’s the first mural to greet you: “Born & Raised on the Oregon Trail” by Don Grey. This mural introduces the cast of characters who helped settle the Vale area, serving as a vibrant reminder of our shared history and heritage. The ribbon cutting took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Vale’s murals reflect the community’s diverse heritage and ongoing pride in preserving local history. The Vale Mural Society is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are always appreciated to support future restoration efforts. For more information about Vale and the mural project, please contact the Vale Chamber at 208-615-9399 or visit www.valechamber.com/murals.
