The Weiser Activity Center for Seniors welcomed local veterans for a heartfelt celebration, teaming up with Weiser Elk’s Lodge #1683 to provide a complimentary Chicken Fried lunch.
The event drew a large crowd, filling the center with camaraderie and shared experiences.
Attendees not only enjoyed a delicious meal but also received from the Weiser Elks, a commemorative Veterans Challenge Coins, a symbol of appreciation for their service. Veterans took the opportunity to connect with one another, sharing stories and reflecting on their time in service.
“This is a wonderful way to honor our heroes,” said an Alex Chavarria.
The event underscored the spirit of community support for those who have served, making it a memorable occasion for all involved. Special thanks were extended to the Weiser Activity Center for Seniors and the Weiser Elks for their efforts in creating such a meaningful gathering.
