The Weiser Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jodi Johnson as their new Chamber Director. A dedicated member of the Weiser community for nearly 12 years, Jodi brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering connections among local businesses.
Originally from a small farming town in Iowa, Jodi, along with her husband Aaron, have built a wonderful life in Weiser. Together, they have raised two incredible children and enjoy their lifestyle on 10 acres west of the city, sharing their home with two mini schnauzers, a horse, and four Irish Dexter cows.
As they embrace the exciting adventure of becoming empty nesters, their son is thriving in Southern California with his own small business, while their daughter pursues her dreams at Boise State University.
Jodi is eager to embark on this new journey with the Weiser Chamber of Commerce. With a diverse background that includes running a small bookkeeping service and serving as a substitute teacher in the Weiser school district for seven years, she understands the unique challenges and opportunities faced by local businesses.
“Weiser is home to amazing people, and I’m eager to collaborate with all types of businesses, from cornerstone corporations to small owner-operated ventures,” said Jodi. “I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter at the Weiser Chamber of Commerce and look forward to making lasting connections.”
