Weiser City Council Approves the Farmers Market Move to the City Park

The Weiser City Council has made a decision approving the move of the local Farmers Market from the historic Weiser Train Depot to the Weiser City Park. This move comes after careful consideration of numerous factors that will benefit both the community and the vendors. With the aim of fostering community engagement and supporting local businesses.

The City Council enthusiastically approved the relocation of the Farmers Market to the City Park in order to enhance economic growth and provide ample space for vendors to showcase their products. One of the council’s primary reasons for approving this move was the park’s central location, which will facilitate easy access for both vendors and the community as well as getting the Market under some much needed shade!

Moreover, the City Council aims to address the community’s desire for a vibrant and inclusive space. The City Park provides an ideal setting that fosters community engagement, camaraderie, and a sense of togetherness among residents. This move will inevitably transform the park into a hub of activity and cultivate a strong sense of community pride.

The Farmers Market runs every Thursday in June through September from 5pm to 7pm. If you have any questions please contact Jennifer at 208-741-1757.
