Monday June 10th at the monthly City Council meeting Mayor Randy Hibbered introduced the City of Weiser’s new attorney, Reece Hrizuk. Hrizuk grew up in Fruitland, Idaho and returned to practice law in the area after law school. During his introduction Hrizuk shared that he has been part of a number of organizations such as, Elks Club, Fruitland City Council (4 years), and is currently a Payette County Commissioner (5 years). “I love being involved and I’m a big community supporter,” stated Hrizuk.
Mayor Hibberd shared that one of the big reasons he chose Hrizuk was his experience, “I liked choosing Reece because of the amount of community involvement he had, plus he having sat in our shoes and being a commissioner. He knows both sides and I think he will be very valuable.” Hrizuk shared his thought of being Weiser’s new attorney stating,“ I have always really enjoyed Weiser and thought highly of Weiser. So I am excited to work with you all and I look forward to it.”
